A successful Valorant Championship followed by a BGMI Championship goes to say that we have conquered the North. A perfectly curated and put together tournament only for teams from the Northern Division. The Battlegrounds were swamped with tactics, ammunition, grenades and perfect kills. Each team put out a tremendous and fantastic performance in order to bring fame and glory to their respective universities. 46 teams came together from one single division to make this event a grand success. ESI announced a Prize-Pool of Rs.50,000/- for the entire tournament. The tournament began on 17th Sept and the final game was played on the third day 19th Sept ’21. Live-streaming, on-spot query teams with live commentary were also the icing to the cake.
With all said and done, this tournament also witnessed a mini chat post each Groups final match with the winners from that particular group. A representative from the winning teams spoke to the fans and viewers with regards to the strategies, where the game was heading, best players and lot’s more. We also picked out MVP’s for each match, a People’s Choice Player & the MVP of the tournament. Pranam Patel from team LPU smashed records to secure an individual best of 122 points in front of his name. Team LPU 4 emerged as the champions of the Northern Division BGMI Championship on the last day of the tournament with a total score of 100 points across all 5 maps. Kashmir Govt. Polytechnic 2 were at par and battled it well with a neck to neck encounter but secured 2nd place with 99 points in their kitty. Islamic University team 1 & Chandigarh University team 2 secured 3rd and 4th place respectively with 58 points each.
We at ESI, EUSAI & Mogo have several other tournaments coming up across all divisions in the country. Our aim is to create maximum participation and give all teams a chance for an equal and fair battle. We are also delighted that Universities & their directors have encouraged their students to participate in this tournament in large numbers. Tournament Structure:
23 teams were slotted into two groups each namely Group A & Group B. Teams competed with each other in their respective groups and the top 18 teams moved ahead to the semi-finals of the tournament in their respective groups. Top 9 teams that played well in a best of two maps then advanced to the finals of the tournament. The finals were played on the final day in a best of 5 maps with 18 teams.

Teams participated from states like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi & Haryana.
