

The most talked aboutgame in the mobile e-sports gaming circuit - Battlegrounds Mobile India hit the Indian Markets in July and post the official tournament we at MOGO in association with Elite Sports India were the first to curate a platform for the Indian gamers in this section. The hype for this event was real and with our platform it only just got bigger and better. The footfall for these tournaments has always been humungous and teams walk home with tons of cash prizes. This new game not only kicked off in style but was also able to reach the masses in order to gain maximum participation for the event
We witnessed teams from all across India with participation from 21 states in the country. Maharashtra had the highest participation with 26 teams followed by Telangana and Rajasthan with 14 teams each. We also received participation from various other states like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand to name a few.
Gen Z has been dominating the esports championship segment with most players participating from this age group. Working professionals and college teens also account the tally in the number of players at our events. More than 800+ players were part of this mega tournament.

Championship Format:
Teams battled it out fiercely amongst each other competing in a best of three rounds and the top 10 teams from each group made it to the Semi-finals of the tournament. The knocked-out teams in each group were also given a chance to redeem themselves and top 2 teams in that bracket made it to the semi-finals of the tournament as well.
Teams battled it out in a best of two matches and top 16 teams then made it through to the finals of this tournament. The finals were played on 3 different maps and the top team stood a chance to emerge victorious in the same.
Prize Pool:
Top eight teams stood a chance to receive loads of cash prizes.
Blood Lust the winning team bagged Rs.12,000 in their bank. First Runners up were awarded Rs 7,000. 2nd Runner ups & 4th place winners received 3,500 each and 5th -8th placed winners received 2250 each.
Social Media Strength:
Social Media has been an important asset in terms of communication and reach to the masses for this event. Through our marketing efforts, we were able to gain about 1336 followers on Instagram. We also witnessed a steady increase in our YouTube subscribers due to our effective and smooth streaming facility. We gained about 250 new subscribers through this tournament taking our current subscriber base to 4.92k subscribers. Our discord channel for all gamers also witnessed growth in followers by gaining a mammoth 250 new followers this tournament.
